A therapeutic innovation for dystonic motor disorders related to Parkinson's disease

A.F. GENESE Med: Redefining mobility in Parkinson's disease

The A.F. GENESE Med program represents the culmination of our commitment to research. This therapeutic innovation project specifically targets one of the most disabling symptoms for patients with Parkinson's disease: dystonic motor disorders.

The challenge: beyond tremor

While Parkinson's disease is often associated with resting tremor, dystonic disorders—characterized by involuntary, prolonged, and often painful muscle contractions—profoundly impair patients' quality of life and autonomy. These symptoms sometimes resist conventional treatments, creating a major unmet medical need.

A.F. GENESE technology bridges the most rigorous fundamental research and the concrete daily needs of patients and users.

Toward a Pivotal Clinical Phase

The A.F. GENESE Med project is currently entering a pivotal phase of its development.
In collaboration with the Brain and Mind biocluster, we are consolidating evidence of efficacy to provide a concrete and safe therapeutic response to the thousands of people affected by these motor disorders.
