A.F. GENESE was born from an ambition: to offer a new approach to muscle tone regulation that is more accessible and less invasive.
Neurological diseases that impair muscle tone, including Parkinson’s disease, gradually deprive patients of their motor autonomy, posture, and freedom of movement. In the face of these pathologies, available therapeutic approaches remain insufficient: while effective, they are burdensome, invasive, or transient, failing to provide a sustainable solution that is accessible daily and compatible with patients’ ordinary lives.
The A.F. GENESE journey is rooted in a fundamental observation: how to address the inability of current treatments to sustainably regulate muscle tone without severe systemic side effects, regardless of the origin of the muscle tone disorder.
Our ambition was to design an approach capable of restoring motor homeostasis. A.F. GENESE was born from the conviction that another path exists—one of resonance rather than constraint, of dialogue with the nervous system rather than its pharmacological or surgical suppression. Our vision is one of non-invasive neuromodulatory medicine, worn on the wrist as a daily habit, acting not on surface symptoms but on the regulatory mechanisms at their source. A medicine that restores the nervous system’s ability to listen to itself and gives the patient the possibility of living differently within their body.
This vision entails a demanding scientific responsibility. It is not satisfied with subjective effects or generic promises. It is built on six years of daily research, an institutional partnership with INSERM (the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research), and objective data measured in real clinical conditions.
A.F. GENESE intends to demonstrate, with the rigor that neurology demands, that it is possible to sustainably modulate neuromuscular tone non-invasively and with complete autonomy for the patient.
